This privacy policy has been compiled to better serve those who are concerned with how their ‘Personally identifiable information’ (PII) is being used online. PII, as used in privacy laws and information security, is information that can be used on its own or with other information to identify, contact, or locate a single person, or to identify an individual in context. When and why Svasthya collects information from its users?

Svasthya collects personal information during registration from its users in order to provide better and personalised services. The collected information is used to study how users use Svasthya website, mobile application, and product. The provided information are further used to contact users and fulfil requested services and as otherwise stated in the Privacy Policy. We may share certain information about our users with third parties and the subjected information are listed below.

Information that Svasthya collects

Svasthya only collects information that are provided by the users. These information include but are not limited to name, email address, phone number, gender and date of birth. Since Svasthya is a health and wellness related company, we also collect information pertaining to health like physical activity, height, body weight, nutritional data, biometric information and sleep-related habits. The given information may be used by Svasthya to provide impeccable service to the users.

For a better experience, while using our service, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information.  These permission includes camera, microphone access. Automatically collected information

When users interact with svasthya's Mobile Application, Svasthya automatically receives and records information on the server log. These information include the page requested by the user, IP address and ‘cookie’ information.

‘Cookies’ are identifiers that Svasthya transfers to users’ mobile device or computer. This allows us to identify the users’ mobile devices or browsers and help us analyse how and when svasthya's website and mobile application were visited and by how many people. However, a user can limit this action or change their preferences in mobile or web browser by limiting their device’s acceptance of cookies. In that case, the user will not be able to enjoy the best of services provided by Svasthya.

The data that contains user information is only used in an aggregate form and Svasthya will not use it in a manner that will identify users individually. This aggregate form may also be shared with svasthya's partners in order to help them understand how often svasthya's mobile application is used and based on that enable them to provide optimal online services. However, Svasthya will never share aggregate information with our partners in a way that would identify a user individually.

Cookie information

Cookie information is information that is stored in the users’ hard drive. These information are listed below:

(i) Details or information on particular service, model, brand or product that the user has shown interest in while visiting the website or using the mobile application.

(ii) Last updated date and time of the user.

When a user deletes their cookies, the stored information are removed. To be clear, information perceived as sensitive by Svasthya will not be created. This includes religious beliefs and practices, political opinions and affiliations, sexual orientation or physical/mental health condition.

E-mail and other communications

Svasthya may contact users via email or by other means. We may email or notify our users regarding promotional and upcoming offers marketed by Svasthya or other businesses. We may also communicate with users regarding their use of the Product or Mobile Application. Similarly, when users open an email sent from Svasthya, we will get a notification. This will enable us to offer more interesting e-mail communication and help us improve our service. In case if a user does not want to receive e-mail notifications from us, they indicate their preference by emailing us at health@svasthya.ai.

How do we protect visitor/user information?

A user’s Svasthya account is protected by a password for their security and privacy. To curb information theft, we urge our users to protect their account appropriately by using strong passwords and limit access to their devices and browsers. We insist on logging out of Svasthya account after every use.

Svasthya strives hard to protect our users’ accounts and personal information that we hold in our records. However, when an unfortunate event like the entry of unauthorised use, software or hardware failure or any such factor happens, personal information provided by the users can be compromised and Svasthya cannot guarantee complete security.

svasthya's mobile application may contain links to other websites or applications. When a user accesses a given link, we strongly recommend them to read the said website/application’s Privacy Policy before registering. Svasthya is not responsible for the Privacy Policy or practices mentioned on the other site.

Even though encryption technology is effective, security system can be compromised. Svasthya cannot guarantee that the information users provide will not be intercepted while being transmitted to us or the security of our database. A user has to share information with our Mobile Application or website at his/her own risk.

Changes to this privacy policy
Svasthya has every right to amend this Privacy Policy from time to time as it sees fit. If Svasthya makes any changes to this policy, users will be swiftly notified either via SMS or email communication. When such changes occur and informed, users are bound by the updated Privacy Policy from then on.
Third-Party Disclosure

Svasthya strives to protect the personal information provided by the user. Svasthya does not trade, sell or otherwise transfer users’ personally identifiable information to outside parties.

Third-party links
Svasthya has not partnered with any third party links and hence, we do not include/sell or offer third-party services or products on our website or mobile application.
Google Ads

Google advertisements placed on any website are based on Google’s Advertising Principles. These ads are placed in order to provide a positive experience for the users. Svasthya uses Google AdSense Advertising on our website.

Since Google is a third party vendor, it uses cookies to place advertisements on Svasthya website. DART cookie used by Google enables it to place ads on our website based on the users’ visit to Svasthya website and other searches on the internet. Users may opt of DART cookies by visiting the Google ad and the content network privacy policy.

Svasthya has implemented Demographics and Interests reporting and Remarketing with Google AdSense. We use first-party cookies (Google Analytics Cookies) and third-party cookies (DoubleClick Cookies) along with other third-party cookies to collect data regarding ad impressions, user experience and other ad-related services pertaining to our website.

Opting out
Using the Google Ad Setting page, users can change their Google Ad preferences. Alternatively, user can download the Google Analytics Opt-Out browser to stop their data from being used by Google Analytics or can opt-out by visiting the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page.
Opting out of email communication
If a user wants to unsubscribe from receiving emails from Svasthya in the future, the user can email us at health@svasthya.ai and we will remove him/her from all correspondence. We may communicate with you via email, SMS, WhatsApp or over call to communicate our solutions and track your progress when you join our program.

svasthya's main purpose for publishing blog content is to create awareness on health and wellness related topics among the general population. It is also our mission to enlighten people about various lifestyle related health issues and help them understand the importance of eating nutritious food and living healthily.

Author and editorial guidelines

Svasthya does not accept articles that are plagiarised or duplicated. It is mandatory for authors to source and site well-established research papers while writing an article.  Articles should be grammatically and factually accurate.

Process to evaluate the content and review of the same

When an article is submitted by an author, svasthya's nutritionists and health experts thoroughly check the article and medically review it. The author will be immediately notified of any factual errors and will be requested to make the changes before approving the article for publishing.

Assurance about the quality of the content

Svasthya ensures top-notch quality when it comes to content. We are particular about using simpler and impeccable language so it can be read and understood by everyone.
